The implementation of the Korea's new adult guardianship system and its challenges

초록

The new adult guardianship can be available to persons with disabilities for protecting or supporting his/her rights and interests demonstrates important progress in Korea, not only to settle a dispute around his/her children about property management of the aged with dementia. The program of supporting adult guardianship for persons with developmental disabilities by the government has to extend to people with mental disease and the elderly with dementia.
