흉추부 골절에서 신경학적 손상 유무에 영향을 주는 요소
초록
목적:To determine the factors that have an effect on the neurological deficit in the thoracolumbar fractured patients. 대상: Forty-eight (n=48) patients with thoracolumbar fractures (23 with and 25 without neurological deficit) were included from Mar, 2002 to Mar, 2005. Medical records andradiographs were retrospectively examined. Sex, age, cause of injury, type of injury, level of injured spine, time interval from the injured place tothe hospital, duration to the operation, kyphotic angle of injured verterbra, canal involvement, and remain height of vertebra body were concerned as the factors that may have an effect on the neurological defecit in the thoracolumbar fractured patients. Stastical analysis comparing those with neurological defecit to those without was performed by Student's t-test. 결과:The mean canal involvement in patients with neurologic deficit was 58.95+-20.61% while in patients without neurological deficit it was 35.11+-12.99%. This differnce was stastically significant(P=0.369) and the remain height of vertebra (P=0.746), there were no significant difference between patients with neurological deficit and those without the deficit. 결론: There are no factors that predispose to neurologic injury after thoracolumbar fracture. The canal involvement after the injury, however, was predictive of neurological defecit.
