소형 수직형 풍력터빈의 개발 및 성능시험

초록

This paper presents measured performances of a small-scale, vertical, wind turbine rated as 1 kW which has a tail consisted of a stabilizer and a rudder. Compared with the maximum power coefficient of 0.59 for a downsized model measured in a closed-type wind tunnel, the maximum turbine power coefficient near 0.53 was measured with some scatterings in an open-type wind tunnel, and thereby is considered to be higher than those of conventional three-bladed horizontal turbines. The maximum power coefficients of the prototype turbine occur at tip speed ratio's around 0.5, which deviate slightly from that obtained in the previous model test.
