초록
In this paper, the plastic zone size ahead of the crack tip and the crack growth length under the cyclic loading were measured by ESPI system. These measured results of the plastic zone size using ESPI system are compared with the analytic solutions proposed by Irwin. The measured results of the crack growth length are also compared with them measured by the image analysis system. It is confirmed that it is possible to measure the plastic zone shape and size with thickness effect, surface crack length and inner fatigue crack growth length in the thickness direction.
