Experimental Tests for Evaluation of the Energy Dissipation Capacity of a Double Split Tee Connection

초록

A double split tee connection provides different behavior characteristics depending on the thickness of T-stub, distance of high-strength bolt gauge, number of high-strength bolts and tightening force of high-strength bolts. In this case, an evaluation of the energy dissipation capacity of a double split tee connection needs to be conducted. However, research on the evaluation of energy dissipation capacity according to changes in geometric shape of a double split tee connection is still lacking in Korea. This study was designed to evaluate energy dissipation capacity according to the changes in the distance of high-strength bolt gauge and thickness of T-stub of the double split tee connection fastened by T/S bolt. To this end, actual experimental tests were carried out.
