The Width Dependence of a 1×4 MMI Power Splitter Uniformity
초록
The width of a MMI power splitter affects its splitting uniformity as well as self imaging distance. The variation of MMI width changes coupling coefficients for existing modes slightly, and thus, the characteristics of multiple image profile. We report the systematic analysis of the width dependence in preparation of a general design rule of a MMI power splitter.
