The influence of precursors on manganeses oxide properties for supercapacitor
초록
Abstract. In order to achieve an efficient energy stroge with high energy, power density, long cycle life and rapid charging- discharging, supercapacitors have drawn intensive attention in recent years. Generally, electrode consisting of transition metal oxide has shown superior electrochemical activity for supercapacitor applications. Because of their low cost and long durability, manganese oxides have been considered as one of the most effective supercapacitor material. Also, it is well known that electrochemical and physicochemical properties of manganese oxide can be easily varied by using different precursors. In this work, manganese oxides were successfully synthesized with using various precursors such as MnCl2, MnSO4, and Mn(Ac)2 by double solvent precipitation method. The physicochemical properties of as-prepared catalysts were characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Brunauer?Emmett?Teller (BET). Cyclic voltammetry (CV) was utilized in a standard three electrode system in a 0.5 M sodium sulfate solution for measuring the electrochemical properties
