초록
This paper deals with the experimental results on influences of the oscillation phenimena on the distnace between the SPD and the equipment to be protected(the protective distance). In order to evaluate the importance of location of installing SPDs. the voltage at the terminals of equipment to be protected was measured as a function of the protective distance under ring-wave voltages. As a consequence, the voltage at the terminals of equipment to be protected is increased with increasing the protective distance. The voltage at the terminals of equipment to be protected is increased up to approximately 1.17 times higher than the clamping voltage of the SPD in conditions of the 10m protective distance and the ring wave voltage with a peak if 6kV
