Performance of IEEE 802.11 MAC with Bridging Function

초록

This paper investigates the performance of the IEEE 802.11 MAC Protocol for Wireless Local Area Networks(WLANs) by computer simulations. We show the system throughput and the average delay of CSMA/CA with bridging functions. The results show that the bridging method reduces the average delay compared with the non-bridging method.
