Development of pedal robot for vehicle testing on chassis dynamometer

초록

Due to the decrease in skilled test personnel and the avoidance of difficult labor, the need for test robots in automotive indoor tests using chassis dynamometers, such as electric vehicle and RDE tests, is increasing, and it is important to improve the usability in the automotive test process compared to existing automotive test robots on the market. In this study, we conducted research to develop a test robot with pedal motions similar to human driving motions, and developed a pedal robot that can operate the brake pedal and accelerator pedal with a three-degree-of-freedom structure, and evaluated its performance.
