Sloshing Assessment Procedure Using Structural Responses for Membrane Type LNG CCS
초록
The reliable sloshing assessment methods for LNG cargo containment systems are important to satisfy the structural strength of the systems. For the reliability of sloshing assessment, several procedural components are introduced to meet the feasibility of LNG CCS design. The measured sloshing loads from model test are investigated for the assessment. Static and transient analysis of a LNG CCS are performed to evaluate the structural strength using an designed sloshing load. And the structural response is evaluated in time domain to obtain the dynamic structural responses. A practical method based on fluid structure interaction analysis is employed in order to evaluate the structural strength in actual scale.
