경상방언의 [n]-삽입현상

초록

In this paper, we have proposed that the complex morpho-phonological configurations conditioned for Kyungsang [n]-Insertion can be decomposed into a set of simple, basic constraints. And these constraints conspire to avoid through the constraint ranking the proposed generalized morpho-phonological configuration ...C morpheme{y. According to our proposal, the best way to avoid the configuration is to insert an unmarked consonant [n] in morpheme-initial position. Namely, the [n]-inserted candidate is the best of the worst candidates to avoid the configuration.
