MR 유체를 적용한 반능동 댐퍼의 성능평가

초록

In this paper, a cylindrical MR damper for a passenger vehicle is proposed. After formulating the dynamic model, an appropriate size of the MR damper is designed and manufactured. Field-dependent damping forces are empirically evaluated with respect to the intensity of the magnetic field. A unit step response to indentify the fastness of a semi-active damper and required electrical power are also investigated.
