초록
This study examined the factors associated with the utilization of private education, and the private education expenditures of five year old children using a sample of 211 households in Korea surveyed in 2002 KLIPS. Mother’s employment status in working was significantly and positively associated with the likelihood of the utilization of private education. Household income was significantly and negatively associated with the likelihood of the utilization of private education. Mother’s education with more than high school and higher household income were significantly and positively associated with the higher expenditure of private education.
