Adipocyte and macrophage mediated inflammatory reaction by an atypical antipsychotic drug, olanzapine: effects on the production of NO and prostaglandin

초록

Our results suggest that overproduced NO onserved in immune cells is caused by the leptin released from the olanzapine and clozapine-activated adipocyte. This may lead to the drug-induced side effects like the weight gain, hypertriglyceridemia or obesity induced diabetes mellitus.
