Mechanical and electrical behaviors of 3d printed strain gauge
초록
As one of the rapid prototyping (RP) technologies, 3D printing is a technology used to visualize concepts and models as well as prototype parts. Commonly used materials in 3D printing technology are polymer including thermoplastic resin, metal powder, liquid type ceramic, and photo-curable resins, which have been applied in various fields such as processing, medical, and design fields. One of the research areas is the production of electronic circuits and components using 3D printing technology. The inkjet printing technique in which a liquid metal is applied to the surface and fused deposition modeling (FDM) method, which use a polymer having insulating properties, are mainly utilized in the above study. Using conventional FDM method produces the structure and an inkjet printing technique printed liquid metal on the surface to constitute an electronic circuit. However, the above method requires additional processing to surface the liquid metal material during the 3D printing process. The time required to produce the product is increased by the added process.
