Laser Heat Treatment Using Pyramid Polygon Mirror

초록

Laser heat treatment for the wide area of machine parts has been demanded from surface engineering applications industries. The scanning pyramid mirror can provide a uniform linear heat source with the continuous adjustment of both amplitute and frequency. The scanning mirror has been designed and manufactured from copper coated with gold. The hardened width of 13-17 mm by a single pass scanning was obtained in SNCM220 and SCM440.
