만성 기침의 원인적 분류

Chronic cough is a common symptom that requires the systematic diagnostic approach for proper evaluation. PNDS, bronchial asthma, GERD, and chronic bronchitis are among the common causes. We did this study prospectively to evaluate the spectrum and the frequencies of the causes of chronic cough. PNDS was the most frequent etiology and bronchitis, the second. The etiology can be determined easily by history and physical examination, successful therapy initiated in most patients. The response to specific therapy also was important in evaluation of chronic cough.
