벡터화된 SIMD 프로그래머블 통합 셰이더를 위한 특수 함수 유닛 설계

초록

In this paper, we propose a SFU(Special Function Unit) for vectorized SIMD programmable unified shader. This executes special or computation intensive instructions in DirectX shader assembly. The SFU is composed of 6225 slices in Xilinx FPGA, Vertex4 xc4v1x200. All computation units operate at maximum frequency of 117 MHz, and use 128 Kbit Block RAM.
