타력 증대가 저속 운항 선박의 조종성능에 미치는 영향에 관한 수치적 연구
초록
Recently, a vessel's maneuvering performance is considered to be an important subject by ocean pollution from ships that standed on a rock. So. IMO(International maritime organization) has adopted Resolution MSC.137 to enhance international standards of ship's maneuverability. A study on how to improve the maneuverability is being carried out actively. There's more than one way to improve ship's maneuverability at low forward speed in shallow water by improved rudder force. To predict the maneuverability, the numerical simulation model was made and verified by using the MMG maneuvering mathematical model. In addition, improvement of turning ability and course keeping ability by increased rudder force was evaluated through numerical simulation in deep water, shallow water and low forward speed area. The conclusions of this research are as follows. Firstly, the increased rudder force would be effective in improving the turning ability than course changing ability. Secondly, the turning ability improvement of shallow water is greater than that of deep water. Finally, the turning ability improvement is most effective a ship with low forward speed in shallow water.
