초록

The use of the electronically controlled exhaust flap valve(ECEFV) has increased to meet enhanced automotive noise regulations. The ECEFV can operate in high temperatures and vibration environments, so reliability and durability are very important factors. This study aims to develop a durability mode for the durability test of the ECEFV. To do so, we measured the operating state of ECFEV from various test routes(Urban, Rural, and Motorway) and vehicle driving modes(Sport, Comfort). The basic durability mode per 100 kilometers was developed under each condition based on the results of the analysis, while the 160,000-kilometer durability mode was developed through the combination of basic 100-kilometer durability modes. This mode also has a feature that can be selected in the vehicle's driving mode ratio. © Copyright 2018 KSAE / 156-11.
