Development of measuring facility for the insulation performance of full scale LNG cargo conatainment system using heat flow method

초록

In this study, apparatus measuring insulation performance of LNG cargo containment system has been developed because existing equipment could not deal with full scale of LNG cargo containment system. Heat flow method has been adopted for estimating the insulation performance. Reinforced poly urethane foam as a reference material was conducted by prototype equipment for confirming suitability of process. Furthermore, a standardized insulation unit box of NO.96 which is a type of LNG cargo containment system was conducted for evaluating insulation performance.
