다이아몬드 형상의 탐구를 통한 건축공간에 관한 성찰

초록

This study attempts to speculate the representation of three dimensional space appeared in Modrian's Neo-Plastic composition which is an absolute abstraction of Nature, by means of comparison of Van Doesburg's theory on Elementalism. The thesis furthers Mondrian's idea of Diamond configuration to examine the concept of Frontality and Rotation, founded in John Hejduk's theory of Diamond House, and finally to explore John Hejduk's architectural logic, which made Mondrian's intention possible, making of three dimensional representation from two dimensional drawing.
