초록

Periosteum-derived progenitor cells (PDPCs) were isolated and characterized by flow cytometric analysis using fluorescence-activated cell sorter (FACS). The chondrogenesis of PDPCs was performed in thermoreversible gelation polymer (TGP), poly(N-isopropylamid-co-n-butyl methacrylate) [poly(NIPAAm-co-BMA)] and poly(ethylene glycol), with defined medium containing transforming growth factor-β3 (TGF-β3). With chondrogenic induction, PDPCs showed the chondrogenic potential when cultured in TGP. As the PDPCs-TGP was able to inject into a body, it could be applied easily to minimize invasion of defected knee.
