초록

In radio communication systems, cpture aries due to different locations in transmitters or different times of arivals of packets onto the receiver and thus improves the overall sytem performance. In cellular mobile communication systems the transmitted signals may be experienced in serious variations becuse of shadowing and fding from the dense and high-rise buildings. So the receiver of base station may decode one of many signals due to different power levels or different time of arrivals. In this paper we model and analyze, using multiband concept,a random access system for cellular radio mobile networks. mobile stations are assumed uniformly distributed over a cell and the cell is composed of many circularly disjoint bands with equal width from a base station. Then the capture may naturally occur from the differnt bands of different locations. We derive performance of the system, and show that the performance is remarkable as the number of bands increases.
