Last-passage Monte Carlo algorithms for mutual capacitance

We develop and test the last-passage diffusion algorithm, a new type of Monte Carlo algorithm, for the mutual capacitance of a system of conductors. Monte Carlo algorithms for the simple capacitance of a conductor use first-passage algorithms:they average over the properties of Brownian paths tha initiate outside the conductor and terminate on its surface.
