Transverse charge and spin densities of the pion and the nucleon

In the present talk, I review recent works on the transverse charge and spin densities of the pion, the kaon and the nucleon, based on the nonlocal chiral quark model from the instanton and the chiral quark-soliton model. We examine the flavor structure of the nucleon, using the present results. We discuss them in comparison with the data of lattice QCD.
