Incremental Relaying for Coperative Relaying Systemwith NOMA

In this paper, we propose an incremental decodeand- forward (IDF) relaying scheme for a cooperative relaying system using non-orthogonal multiple access. Depending on the channel qualities among the source, relay, and destination, the relay can keep silent or forward signal besides direct transmission. By employing the IDF scheme, the relay-forwarded signal can be a detected message signal or a new superposition, which is received at destination for detecting purpose according to quality-of-service requirements. Monte Carlo simulation results verify that the proposed IDF scheme achieves a superior outage performance.
