초록

In this paper, a new composite guidance law for a strapdown semi-active laser seeker equipped missile is proposed, which can intercept stationary and/or moving targets by using even the nonlinear field-of-view of the seeker. To this end, we first define the target-missile engagement geometry and dynamic models with respect to the vertical plane, and investigate the characteristics of the semi-active laser seeker's field-of-view. After that, two different types of look angle controllers, which can control look angles within the nonlinear or linear field-of-view to desired positions, are proposed, and the semi-active laser seeker based composite guidance scheme is developed by combining both the proportional navigation guidance and the proposed look angle controllers. In order to demonstrate the guidance performance and characteristics of the suggested law, various numerical simulations against stationary and moving targets are carried out.
