One-step Co-Reduction Method of Platinum and Black TiO2: Preparation of Pt-Deposited Black Double-Shelled TiO2 Hollow Nanospheres
초록
In this study, platinum (Pt)-deposited black double-shelled hollow TiO2 nanospheres (Pt/BDHNs) are successfully fabricated via a novel one-step co-reduction method employing NaBH4 and Pt precursors. Specifically, double-shelled hollow TiO2 nanospheres (DHNs) are first prepared through a sequential method of sol-gel, PVP coating and sonication-mediated etching. The DHNs are then combined with NaBH4 as the reducing agent and Pt(acac)2 as Pt precursor, followed by thermal treatment under a nitrogen atmosphere. This integrated approach enabled the simultaneous conversion of white TiO2 into its black TiO2 and the deposition of Pt nanoparticles. As a result, the Pt/BDHNs exhibit enhanced photocatalytic activity for the degradation of various organic dyes, which is attributed to their large specific surface area and enhanced charge separation induced by Pt deposition. - 본 연구는 정부(과학기술정보통신부)의 재원으로 한국연구재단의 지원을 받아 수행된 연구임 (RS-2025-16070620).?
