Synthesis, structure and bioactivity of PDMS-modified CaO-SiO2-P2O5 hybrids through sol-gle process

초록

Bioactive PDMS-modified CaO-SiO2-P2O5 hybrids were synthesized by a sol-gel method with tetraethoxy silane(TEOS), polydimethyl siloxane(PDMS), calcium nitrate tetra-hydrate[Ca(NO3)2·4H2O] and triethyl phosphate(TEP) as a starting material. The synthesized samples with different CaO/SiO2 mole ratio were investigated on the bioactivity by the use of simulated body fluid(SBF). The in vitro bioactivity of the samples were evaluated by studying the changes in element concentration of SBF with time and the changes in morphology, composition and crystalline phases formed on the surface layer of the specimens with various techniques such as ICP, XRD, FT-IR and SEM.
