Plasma lipid levels change with alkaline phosphatase concentration during normal pregnancy.

Plasma lipid levels change with alkaline phosphatase concentration during normal pregnancy.

초록

To investigate the relationship between the change in blood lipid levels and alkaline phosphatase concentrations during pregnncy, we measured blood lipid profiles and alkaline phosphatase concentrations in 546 apparently healthy pregnant, postpartm and nonpregnant sujencts. The triglyceride and total cholesterol levels increased gradually as pregnancy proceeded, reaching maximal values in the third trimester, returned to nonpregnancy level 20 weeks after delivery. The alkaline phosphatase concentration correlated significantly with the total cholesterol level (r=0.68, P<0.01) and the triglyceride concentration (r=0.71, P<0.01). Inconclusion, blood trilyceride and total cholesterol levels change with alkaline phosphatase conentrations during normal pregnancy.
