Uterine Cervical Adenosarcoma Treated by Pelviscopic Operation
초록
Background and aims ; I experienced rare case of uterine cervical adenosarcoma and treated her by pelviscopic operation. Methds ; 44 years old woman visited my office due to abnormal pap result. It’s result was Atypical squamous Cells of Unknown Significance. I saw cervical mass ( 1X1cm ) and did punch biopsy. Punch biopsy’s result was invasive squamous cell ca. She was diagnosed as Cervix Cancer FIGO stage 1B. Preoperative examination were unremarkable. Abdomen+Pelvis CT’s reading was cervical mass without any significant lymph node. Results : I did pelviscopic radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection and para-aortic lymph node dissection. She did not need blood transfusion. Postoperative diagnosis was cervical adenosarcoma confined to cervix. Mass/ Cervical thickness was 0.4cm/2cm. Lympho-vascular invasion was not found. Lymph node were negative ( 0/28 ). She was scheduled regular office follow –up without any further treatment. Conclusion ; Cervical adenosarcoma is rare type of sarcoma of cervix. It was known as a low-grade tumor with good prognosis. It can be treated by pelviscopic operation. Unfortunately punch biopsy is not always enough for diagnosing cervical adenosarcoma.
