Functional MR Imaging of the Motor Cortex in Active and Passive Movement: Qualitative and Quantitative Changes

초록

The weaker and fewer activation in contralateral primary sensorimoter cortex and supplimentary cortex and no activation in ipsilateral moter cortex was seen in volunteers with a passive motion task than those with an active motion task. These results may be useful for clinical application of fucntional MR imaging in the unconscious patients or in the animal study.
