Recent Results on Open Heavy Flavour Observables

초록

ALICE is suited for heavy-flavour measurements at the LHC, not only via the full reconstruction of hadronic D-meson decays at mid rapidity but also via the measurement of electrons (muons) from semileptonic heavy-flavour hadron decays at mid (forward/backward) rapidity thanks to excellent lepton identification capabilities. Electrons are reconstructed and identified using several detectors at mid rapidity (|η| < 0.9), namely the Time Of Flight detector, the Time Projection Chamber, the Electromagnetic Calorimeter, and the Transition Radiation Detector. Muons are reconstructed using the muon spectrometer at forward rapidity (-4 < η < -2.5). In this talk, we present measurements of electrons and muons from heavy-flavour hadron decays with ALICE in pp (√s = 2.76 TeV and √s = 7 TeV), p-Pb (√sNN = 5.02 TeV) and Pb-Pb collisions (√sNN = 2.76 TeV). A particular emphasis will be placed on the recent results concerning the nuclear modification factor in pp, p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions, the azimuthal anisotropy in Pb-Pb collisions.
