SSD 기반 RAID 스토리지에서 데이터 및 패리티 디스크의 복합적 중복제거 기법

초록

In this paper, we propose a unified de-duplication method of data and parity disks in the SSD-based RAID storage. The proposed method perform encoding and parity disk de-duplication process, if only data disk is not duplicated with the input data. Hence, the number of parity operations is reduced and parity disk I/O performance is imporved. Experimental result in the RAID-5 environment show that the proposed method improve overall storage efficiency and I/O performance for parity disk .
