Conflict-Free Transmission Scheduling Protocol using Subtree Decomposition in Wireless Sensor Network

Recently, the focus of the wireless sensor network research is moving to the high data rate environments. In the wireless sensor network, simultaneous transmission of multiple nodes occurs collision and lead to decrease of data rate. In this paper, we propose a time division multiple access based scheduling protocol, called Conflict-Free transmission scheduling Protocol using Subtree Decomposition. The algorithm avoids collisions between nodes by scheduling through the subtree decomposition method. The performance of the proposed algorithm has been compared with another time division multiple access based conflict-free scheduling algorithm, called Dynamic Conflict-free Query Scheduling. The result shows that the proposed algorithm outperforms the compared algorithm.
