철도 동상방지를 위한 단열재로서 타이어 활용방안

Every year frost heave arises not only in a pavement but in a railroad track. The frost heave in railroad track may threaten the safety of the railroad traffic and thaw is a cause of settlement of railroad track. In this study thermal conductivity of tire shred and tire tread was measured. And it was found that scrap tire shows very low thermal conductivity and it may be used as an insulation material
