초록

ransition Metal Oxide (TMO) nanoparticles, formed by combining transition metals and oxygen, exhibit diverse properties. They have unique electrical, optical, and catalytic characteristics, finding applications in water splitting, energy storage, and sensing. Some transition metal oxides display localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR), enhancing their potential as catalysts across a broader range of light wavelengths. Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR) is a phenomenon that occurs when the collective oscillation of conduction electrons in metal nanoparticles or nanostructures when they are exposed to light. Here, we synthesized molybdenum tungsten oxide (MoxW1-xO3-y) with a distinctive morphology using solvothermal synthesis. We further enhanced the LSPR phenomenon, by creating junction with Au NPs and tried reducing TMO NPs by annealing at 450°C in Air and inert atmosphere We arrived a conclusion of adding Au NPs instead of annealing the MoxW1-xO3-y, finding optimal condition of attaching metal NPs more evenly, therefore increasing LSPR effect.
