초록

Finite ray tracing has been utilized for the characteristic analysis and the opimal design of micro-optic devices, An incident beam, which enters into the the devices through the input optical, has to be represented as Finite rays. in this paper, two kinds of modeling method such as the annular modeling and the cell modeling were introduced and compared with each other. it was found from the comparison that the later would be more accuracy and efficent than the former. Based on the cell modeling method, we analyzed coupling efficency of the thin film filter type micro-optic device used as a wavelength division multiplexer in optical communication system
