초록
An efficient higher-order shell theory has been developed for symmetric laminated composites. The in-plane displacement fields are obtained by superimposing a globally cubic varying displacement field on a zig-zag linearly varying one. The present shell theory gives deformation and stresses which are in good agreement with those of exact elasticity solution.
