Vibration Isolation of Structural Systems Using Squeeze-Mode ER Mounts

This paper presents vibration control of flexible strucures using ER squeeze-mode mount. After deriving the governing equation of motion, PD and force control algorithms are formulated and experimentally realized. Control responses of acceleration are presented in both time and frequency domains.
