This study was attempted to investigate the degree of stress, depression, mindfulness and life satisfaction in the elderly undergone percutaneous coronary intervention, and to identify the influence of the stress, depression, mindfulness on life satisfaction. Subjects were 106 elderly patients over 60 years who undergone PCI and were followed up in cardiovascular center of an university hospital. The mean scores of main variables were 9.10 for stress, 7.77 for depression, 88.57 for maindfulness, and 17.40 for life satisfaction. There was statistically significant difference in life satisfaction by main source of imcome and perceived health status as compared with peer. Satisfaction score of elderly who made himself/herself owm money was significantly higher than elderly who supported by government subsidies. Satisfaction score of elderlywho perceived their health status as good was higher than the elderly who perceived their health as bad. Life satisfaction were found to have significant correlations with stress, depression and mindfulness. Depression was identified as a factor that explains 38 percent of total variance of life satisfaction adn the explanatory power was increased to 42 percent when mindfulness was added.
