Transparent Electro-Conducting Films Prepared from the Hybrids of Silver Nanowires and Graphenes
초록
Silver nanowires(Ag NWs) have been attracting attention because of their intriguing electrical, thermal and optical properties. Therefore Ag NWs thin film used as transparent electrode showed equal merit or better than that as compared with ITO film. However It is not easy to coat Ag NWs on various substrates due to their weak interaction with them. Graphene oxide (GO) sheets obtained by chemical exfoliation contain a range of reactive oxygen functional groups and can be dispersed in water or polar solvents. In this study, we prepared transparent electo-conductiing Ag NW/GO hybrids by dip-coating uniform Ag NWs with nanometer-scale thick and tens of micrometer length on the surface of largearea GO film in an aqueous system. Oxygen functional groups on graphene oxide showed efficient electrostatic interaction with Ag NWs. Therefore, Ag NWs could be easily dispersed on GO sheets. As a result, Ag NWs/GO hybrid film showed improved electrical and transparent characteristics after thermal reduction process of GO, although a small amount of Ag NWs were used.
