초록

Human skin has smooth, elastic, and nonplanar surfaces. Therefore, soft electronics that allow interfacing with human-machine interfaces will enable applications that cannot be achieved with the rigid integrated circuits that currently exist. Here, we discuss the latest examples of novel, flexible materials such as polymers, nanomaterials, hydrogels, liquid metals, etc., as well as the developed technologies for human-machine interfaces. We also review the latest technologies and methods that can provide elasticity through a structural approach. Finally, we discuss the potential applications and expected developments of soft electronics. . © 2024 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
