팔라디오 건축이론서의 구성 및 분석기법에 관한 연구

초록

Constituting principles and analytic method in Palladio’s theory are considered based on investigating comparison with ‘the 7 books of Architecture’ by Sebastino Serlio in the same era and researching ‘I Quattro libri dell'architettura(The four books of Architecture)’, which is classic and primary in architectural theory. In accordance with this, the Pantheon, which are presented in both theories, is selected as a precedent and analytic process is compared and analyzed. Attributes of the Four books of Architecture written by Palladio describes basic principals of producing needed practical completion of architecture. Wooden drawing plates are composed based on planar expression concentrating on plan, elevation, and section for comparative analysis. In addition, proportional magnification for scale is presented via proposed module, and then it supports grasping real scale with concrete and detailed dimensioning, particularly, it presents elaborated design for ornaments and architectural members. Hereby, this study is expected to be used as a primary research for next process seeking architectural theory in order to define aesthetic theory of architecture in contemporary architecture with grasping signification, worth, and pursuit of Palladio’s theory.
