Novel fabrication of various size ZnO nonorods using hydrothermal method

In recent years, ZnO nano and micro structure have been researched due to remarkable properties. Researchers have made an effort to develop a method to growth ZnO nanorods and microrods, i.e., chemical vapor deposition, laser ablation, and hydrothermal method[1]. To enhance application of nano and micro structure which have unique and extensive electrical and optical properties, size control of structure techniques have to be guaranteed. For example, one of the ZnO nanorods optical properties is that blue photoluminescence(PL) peak shift to blue peak as nanorod size increasing and can apply to obtain blue light source[2]. Aanother reports, in case of electrical properties, ZnO nano structures and examines the performance of nano composite thin film transistors(TFT) fabricated using ZnO dispersed on substrate materials.[3] However, the fabrication technology lacks the control and costeffectiveness neccessary.
