The Mediating Effect of Networking Behavior on the Relationship Between Professional Identity and Subjective Career Success of Certified Coaches in Korea

초록

This study examined the effect of professional identity on subjective career success among certified coaches in South Korea and tested the mediating effect of networking behavior in this relationship. A survey was conducted among coaches certified by the Korea Coach Association from July 18 to August 1, 2025. Using data from 480 respondents, frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and mediation analysis were conducted with AMOS 26.0. The results showed that professional identity had a positive effect on subjective career success and that networking behavior mediated this relationship. These findings indicate that professional identity is an important factor in enhancing subjective career success and that networking behavior serves as a key pathway in this process. This study empirically identified the structural relationships among the three variables and provides practical implications for fostering professional identity and promoting networking behavior to support the career development and career success of certified coaches.
