LCD 광학 Simulator 개발 (Ⅱ)

초록

To develop an electro-optical simulator of TN-LCDs , We have calculated the optical transmittance of liquid crystal cells by using Berreman 4×4 matrix and dielectric tensor of a liquid crystal. As a result , We can obtain an optical transmission as a function of △nd , applied voltages and wave lengths. these results coincides precisely with a Gooch and Terry predictions for a special case of an off state.
