초록
The purpose of in this research is a numerical investigation to optimize the configuration of 5kWth Dish-Type solar air receiver to enhance radiative heat transfer inside the receiver. In order to investigate the performance comparison of 5kWth Dish-Type solar air receiver, four different receivers are considered. The numerical and experimental studies are carried out to investigated the transient heat transfer characteristics of simple- shaped receiver by earlier research. Measured solar radiation and temperatures at several different locations are used as boundary conditions for numerical simulation. Discrete Transfer Method is used to calculate the radiation heat exchange in the receiver. A transient heat transfer model is developed and the rate of radiation, convection and conduction heat transfer are calculated. Comparing the experimental and numerical results, good agreement is obtained. Based on this results, the design information of Dish-Type solar air receiver for producing the electric power can be obtained. The optimum configuration shows remarkable performance in comparison with other type of receivers.
